A powerful drama about children caught in a failing system. Inspired by real cases in Sweden,
this project aims to bring their untold stories to the screen — and to the world.
Exposing Systemic Child Removal Crisis
We expose the hidden child removal crisis. We highlight how state interventions, custody rulings, and institutional abuse impact vulnerable children and families. Inspired by Professor Joan S. Meier’s research in the U.S., we show how justice systems often fail to protect children—ignoring violence and instead accusing mothers of “parental alienation.”
In Sweden, children are similarly taken from parents without clear risk assessments, then exposed to abuse in institutional care. This film project is based on real-life cases in Sweden.
